Foreclosure Resources Updated 4/7/10

There are new resources on the Michigan Foreclosure Task Force Resources page (click above). Housing counselors can download sample forms for working with lenders and homeowners for the 90-day law. Residents, counselors, and government officials in Southeast Michigan should visit the new Foreclosure Intervention and Neighborhood Stabilization Collaborative website (www.fightmortgageforeclosurefinsc.org).

Housing Trust Fund report now available

CEDAM and the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments have commissioned a report from the Citizens Research Council on housing trusts at the state and local level. "Housing Trust Funds: Barriers and Opportunities" is now available to download on the CRC website. The report explores the various forms, purposes, and funding sources of housing trusts around the country.
